Friday, July 18, 2014. A library assistant working to preserve the newspapers. When I visited last year for the first time in about 4 years, there was a new building just to the side of the library. To my joy and surprise, it was an archive building. The Director, Maestro Oscar Luna, told me that they had secured funds from the government for the building. And, they followed through. The biannual conference Feminisms and Rhetorics has served as an intimate gathering place for feminist scholars to exchange ideas and present their research. We are currently looking for sites for the 2017 and 2019.
Is a peer-reviewed journal of the Coalition of Women Scholars in the History of Rhetoric and Composition. The journal, like the Coalition, will promote and foster collaboration and communication among women in these areas of specialization. Seeks to encourage, advance, and publish original research in the history of rhetoric and composition and thereby support scholars and students within our profession.
